Program officer for Income Generation Division

Following its strategic direction, Good Neighbors Mozambique (GNMOZ) works in partnership with the government and other partners to ensure that the Health of Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in Cabo Delgado is protected.

Good Neighbors Mozambique has secured funds in partnership with its counterpart Good Neighbors Japan through Japan Platform JPF for a project called: Protect the health of internally displaced persons in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique, by improving the deteriorating water sanitation environment through the construction of water sanitation facilities and the distribution of sanitary supplies.

To qualify you need

  • University degree in Agronomy, Economics, Management;
  • Have experience working in NGOs or similar (program officer for Income Generation Part);
  • Having a background in the field of agriculture is an advantage;
  • Have knowledge in the area of ​​community development;
  • Understand agribusiness in Mozambique;
  • Know how to do market research, sales and marketing;
  • Know how to prepare a community business proposal in a context of associations/cooperatives;
  • Minimum 1 years of relevant and progressive and successful work experience for an NGO and/or government/UN;
  • Knowledge of Revolving Fund (Micro Finance);
  • Fluency in English, Portuguese and the local language (both spoken and written)
